HAWTHORN with 1,5% VITEXINE:Thanks to the action of a flavonoid, VITEXINA, the Hawthorn acts as a cardiac regulator: it regulates the heart rhythm, decreasing palpitations and, in the case of anxiety, the perception of one's own heartbeat. It has a vasodilating effect on the coronary muscles, with a positive inotropic effect. It is indicated in cases of angina, arrhythmias, palpitations and heart failure. It also has sedative effect on the nervous system and is therefore useful for anxiety, sleep problems and nervousness, with the advantage of not causing drowsiness.
PASSIONFLOWER with 4% FLAVONOIDS : This plant owes its effect to FLAVONOIDS, including HYPEROSIDE. It promotes sleep and helps with all sleep disorders: awakening, difficulty falling asleep. It is also indicated for stress, nervousness and irritability. A 2001 double-blind study showed that, if taken for 30 days, passionflower reduces anxiety symptoms (Akhondzadeh et al., Passionflower in the treatment of generalized anxiety: a pilot double-blind randomized controlled trial with oxazepam, 2011 ). It also acts as an antispasmodic, so it relaxes smooth muscles and is useful in case of pain, intestinal spasms or cramps
ESCOLZIA with 0,35% PROTROPINE:The Escholtzia is a plant with natural HYPNOTIC-SEDATIVE action, but it has the advantage of not being addictive. The effects are given by an alkaloid, PROTOPINE, which acts on the body without giving toxicity problems. It helps with falling asleep and avoids nocturnal awakenings. It also works as an anxiolytic, promoting relaxation, reducing stress and nervousness. It also has antispasmodic virtues, useful in case of pain, intestinal spasms and cramps.
HOP with 0,4% RUTOSIDE: The plant is known for its tranquilizing and light sedative properties. Of great interest is RUTOSIDE, a flavonoic glycoside titrated in the supplement at 0.4%. It acts on the vegetative nervous system and therefore helps with digestive disorders such as colic, spasms and pains. It also contains estrogens that make it useful when approaching menopause, for premenstrual syndrome and menstrual disorders. Hops regulates capillary permeability, has a protective effect on blood vessel walls and acts as an ANTIOXIDANT (In vitro antioxidant properties of rutin. Yang J et al. LWT 41, 1060-1066. 2008)
LINDEN with 1% FLAVONOIDS :It appears in the European Pharmacopoeia IV. It is a sedative of the central nervous system and proves useful as a pressure regulator in anxious states, promotes sleep and has an antispasmodic action on the vegetative system. It also acts as a bechico (cough sedative) and antipyretic. It has diaphoretic properties which favors the elimination of toxins through perspiration.
